.Rebecca & Owen | Engaged | South End, Boston.

Rebecca and Owen live on the cutest street in the South End.  My assistant Lindsey (more about her and the fantasticness that she is very soon) and I traveled down to Boston on sunday to shoot these two love birds. Rebecca and Owen are awesome!  They are planning a "green" wedding.  These two are trying to be as eco friendly as possible all the way down to eco friendly invitations and save the dates.  No easy task I'm sure.

We spent the afternoon shooting near their apartment in the South End.  Even though Rebecca isn't a huge fan of having her photo taken, Owen helped her relax and have fun.

We started their shoot in this beautiful park.  I took the image on the left and the one on the right is Lindsey's.  I love how we see the same things in totally different ways.

Rebecca is stunning!  She has the soft sultry look down and then her smile lights right up!

I posted this one as the "just a taste" yesterday but I just LOVE it so I had to post it again :)

This is another one of Lindsey's awesome images.  I love the reflection in the old glass windows.

I love this old doorway.

Both of these are Lindsey's shots.  We have the steps and front doors and the back alley- and both are stunning!

Can't you just tell how in love they are??

Thank you Rebecca and Owen so much for spending the afternoon wondering around the South End with us.  I had a great time and am looking forward to your wedding in October!!!

.Brianna & Chad | Wine Making.

I've known Chad since he was a little kid.  I used to babysit him and his older brother Cory.   Cory is now married with a daughter and Chad is engaged!  Do I feel old? YES.  But thats really besides the point. I first met Brianna at Cory and Amy's wedding over two years ago.  These two define adorable.  The way they look at one another makes my heart melt.  Chad and Bri asked me if I would come and take some photos of them making wine that they are going to have at their wedding.  Of course I was thrilled to do something just a little different.

Although they are not old enough to drink their own wine yet they were aloud to taste the juice before it ferments.

Check out the bling-

I love Bri's expression in this one.  You can tell that she knows she is the luckiest girl in the world.

After the wine making extravaganza we decided to take advantage of the weather and headed outside for a few fun photos.  Chad was having a good time trying to teach Bri how to skip rocks.

I loved shooting with these two.  I would put them in a spot with great light and they would just be totally adorable all on their own- these two make my job so easy!

I just couldn't help myself- that ring is stunning!!!

Thanks Bri & Chad- I had so much fun with you guys yesterday!!! I'm already looking forward to your wedding next summer!

.impromptu photo shoot | Shannon.

We had some beautiful weather this week.  Days of blue sky, sun and light breezes.  On one of those days last week my friend Shannon and I decided to take a little detour while driving around town and found ourselves along one of the rivers. Around one turn was this beautiful stretch of road.  Trees hanging low, leaves popping out everywhere and the sun streaming down through the trees.  We decided to pull over and walk down to the river.  I took a few photos and then turned and said "Ready for a photo shoot?"  Thankfully, Shannon is always game :)

These first few are just to set the scene for you :)

Shannon laughs and smiles about 99% of her day so getting a few straight faced photos is rare... see didn't last long!

Love her goofballniss (not sure thats a word but it's just the perfect word for Shannon).

I really have no idea what she was doing here but it's cute.

Oh how I loved that light.

The only bad part to the day were the bugs.  The bugs are out in full force and even though shannon tried to fend them off- one found its way up her nose and somehow I was lucky enough to catch it.  Now, most people would tell me right away "don't post that one.. Please!!!"  But not Shannon- her first words after dislodging the bug from her nose was "you have to post that one!!!"  So here you are.  I call it 'Bug Flying Up Shannon's Nose'.

What can I say.  I love where I live.   Mt. Washington Valley is stunning and I'm proud to call it home.  I think this little stretch of back road may become one of my new favorite locations to shoot!

.Candlepin bowling.

This past weekend my boyfriend Silas's family was up for a visit.  I hadn't seen his parents in quite awhile and it was great to be able to spend some time with them.  We had a lobster feast on friday night and spent most of saturday tooling around town.  By late afternoon we were looking for something to occupy us until dinner time. In Fryeburg, Maine there is an old candlepin bowling ally.  Saco Valley Lanes.  It isn't flashy or fancy but trust me you can have a lot of fun!!!  We decided to indulge ourselves.

While I didn't bring my camera (shame on me- what a photo-op)  John (Silas's father) did take a photo with his camera phone and send it to me.  So if you'll excuse the quality here is a picture of Silas and his brother Ethan bowling side by side.

We played 4 rounds and although I had the lowest of all the winning scores I did win one round!  I think this bowling ally might become a staple rainy day hang out.  You just can't beet $3.50 a game and $1.00 for shoes.
