Katie and Rich | Wentworth Inn Jackson, NH

 

They were high school sweet hearts, went to their Jr and Sr prom together and after all these years they finally made it official and tied the knot this past September at The Wentworth Inn in Jackson, NH.  As a cheerleader and football player their story could not be more classic.  After dating long distance in college they bought a home together which is where Rich popped the question.  Katie and Rich are self proclaimed Dog People included their adorable pup Zelda in their day saying it just wouldn't be the same without her!  With abundant sunshine, love and laughter these two started the next chapter of their lives together and I feel so lucky to have been apart of it.

Carlie & Matt's Hardy Farm Wedding | Fryeburg Maine

Matt's determination has a lot to do with how these two love birds finally made it to the alter.  He fell for all the way back in middle school and it took years of his persistance to win her heart.  They were wed at one of my favorite venues, The Hardy Farm in fryeburg, Maine.  It was a warm August day with love and sunshine in abundance.

Heather & Justin | Smith Barn Peabody MA

Now that the cold weather and snow are finally settling in and I've finally had a chance to somewhat set up my office here in our new home I'm finally getting back to blogging all the wonderful weddings and photoshoots I had this year!  You know, just in time to welcome the new year! We'll start with Heather and Justin's August wedding as I am loving the warmth I can feel just by looking at these images!!!  These two have a love that can warm anyone on a cold day.  They are not only head over heals in love but they are partners in the truest sense of the word.  They stand by one another and support one another no matter what is going on around them.  These two planned a destination wedding back home in Ma,  even through they now live in Delaware they wanted to came back home to celebrate with friends and family at The Smith Barn.  It was a wonderful August day with sun shining, smiling faces all around and more love then anyone could ask for.

Welcome To The World Eamon

A few months ago I gained a new nephew.  My husbands brother and his wife welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world and named him Eamon.  I'm so excited for Lydia and Eamon to grow up together, I'm sure there will be tons of mud pies, puddle jumping, games of tag and trips to Disney World in their future.  But while he's still a little peanut I took a little time to document this lovely stage of newborn and new parents.  These were all shot with my friends Hasselblad and my trusty old Pentax K1000 and let me tell you I have missed film,  Enjoy! Matt & Lauren | The Hardy Farm Fryeburg, Maine

Take two very creative artists, a perfect June day, a rustic Maine barn venue, friends and family and a whole lot of love and you've got the ingredients that made up Matt and Lauren's wedding day.  When Matt first reached out to me about their wedding over a year ago I was so flattered to have two such incredible artists (Lauren is an illustrator and Matt's a graphic artist) be so enthusiastic about my work, it was the biggest compliment.  When we shot their engagement session last summer I just knew these two were the perfect Spring Smith Studios couple!  They were fun, silly, adorable and totally head over heals in love.  Their wedding day was nothing short of spectacular!!  We had the perfect weather and a timeline that allowed for lots and lots of photos- plus they hired Nora of SP Films so I had some fun company documenting the day along side me.  The whole day just flowed effortlessly which i'm sure had a ton to do with their onsite planner and all the awesome vendors.   Thank you Matt and Lauren for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day, it was a true and honest joy!
