Red Sox | Memorial Day Weekend 2010

I'm a die hard Red Sox fan- for those of you who didn't already know.  I've been to a lot of Red Sox games in my life.  I've been to play off games and even flew from TX to go to the two home world series games in 2007.  I also had a coop job with the Red Sox in college where I attended 15 or so games in both the 2004 and 2005 seasons and photographed the games from the third base photo pit.  You could say I'm pretty lucky. Well, I was lucky again on Sunday.  My parents had 4 tickets to the Red Sox vs. Kansas City Royals game.  They gave Silas and I two of the tickets to go with them as a Christmas Gift.  In the 85+ degree sun we watched Lester pitch a great game and enjoyed watching the sox pull off a win!

Everyone in our section doing the wave!

Silas and I and my parents and I.  Enjoying the beautiful day!!!

I love Fenway Park.  I've often thought about getting married there someday... yeah told ya I was a die hard fan ;)

These are my awesome parents!!!!  Thank you Mom & Dad for a great Christmas gift that we got to enjoy with the two of you on a beautiful day at the ball park.

Lauren & Matt | Wedding | Jackson, NH

Saturday marked the true kick off to my wedding season.  It was a stunningly beautiful day with blue skies, bright sun and a happy couple walking down the isle.   My awesome assistant, Lindsey was with me and we started this wedding season with a bang. The first time I met with Lauren & Matt I instantly felt a connection.  Their smiles told me in the first few seconds that not only were we going to be friends but that this was going to be a fun wedding.  Living in Mass and planning a wedding in Jackson, NH isn't easy.  We tried to fit in a quick engagement session on the thursday before the wedding but with so much to once they were here in town we decided to do a post wedding shoot another time.  They had a few requests for photo locations (Jackson Falls & the covered bridge) which sounded great to me!

The afternoon started at the Whitney's Inn with Lauren getting her hair and make-up done by one of her maids of honor.  Who, by the way, did a STUNNING job!

Just look at this girl... Lauren you are beautiful.

Lauren had beautiful spring flowers done by Dutch Bloemen Winkel.  Carrie even included a butterfly which has a sentimental value to Lauren.  The Jackson Community Church was the perfect location for this fun couple, with its traditional New England Charm and the always charming and funny Rev. Pojen Lee.

I think Lauren was pretty excited when she saw Matt standing at the alter waiting for her,  don't ya think?

Ringing the bell to let the world know that they are Man and Wife!!!  Lauren was all smiles.

Some of the most beautiful bridesmaids I've ever seen.

Their 'get away' car was a classic t-bird.

After the ceremony we headed over to the covered bridge for a few group photos.

On the way back to The Whitney's Inn for the reception we stopped at Jackson Falls.  The bugs were horrible so we made it a quick stop but these images were so worth the bug bites!

A few adirondack chair shots were a must!

I have never seen a couple this relaxed on their wedding day.  It was so nice to see them enjoying every minute!

The Shovel Handle Pub at The Whitney's Inn was decorated with greens, pinks and oranges.

These are probably the best dancing images I've ever taken!  The light and the couple were perfect!

I had so much fun with Lauren & Matt on their wedding day.  This was the perfect way to start my wedding season.  I was reminded how truly lucky I am to be a part of the happiest day of peoples lives.  A day full of smiles, laughter and love.  Who could ask for anything more?

.Rebecca & Owen | Engaged | South End, Boston.

Rebecca and Owen live on the cutest street in the South End.  My assistant Lindsey (more about her and the fantasticness that she is very soon) and I traveled down to Boston on sunday to shoot these two love birds. Rebecca and Owen are awesome!  They are planning a "green" wedding.  These two are trying to be as eco friendly as possible all the way down to eco friendly invitations and save the dates.  No easy task I'm sure.

We spent the afternoon shooting near their apartment in the South End.  Even though Rebecca isn't a huge fan of having her photo taken, Owen helped her relax and have fun.

We started their shoot in this beautiful park.  I took the image on the left and the one on the right is Lindsey's.  I love how we see the same things in totally different ways.

Rebecca is stunning!  She has the soft sultry look down and then her smile lights right up!

I posted this one as the "just a taste" yesterday but I just LOVE it so I had to post it again :)

This is another one of Lindsey's awesome images.  I love the reflection in the old glass windows.

I love this old doorway.

Both of these are Lindsey's shots.  We have the steps and front doors and the back alley- and both are stunning!

Can't you just tell how in love they are??

Thank you Rebecca and Owen so much for spending the afternoon wondering around the South End with us.  I had a great time and am looking forward to your wedding in October!!!
