Rebecca & Owen's Wedding Album

I know its Fine Art Friday- But I couldn't help it.... I think this book is fine art :) The files are uploading to the printer and I just can't stop looking at this album!!!!   I am so excited to see this one in person, it's going to be stunning!  I love that Rebecca wanted to include a reading from their wedding on the inside cover of the dust jacket.

I’m taking a few moments this morning to remind myself to be grateful. For my friends, family and community. I love where I live and the people in my life and I just thought taking some time this morning to say that out loud was important because so many times life goes by too fast and we forget to take a moment and slow down and be grateful.
I don’t post many photos of this little one on here (maybe because I’m a terrible photogrpher mom who never takes out the real camera for photos of my own kid)- but today this beautiful, smart and funny little lady turns three and I couldn’t be more grateful to have her be the one who made me into a momma! She’s taught me patience and what unconditional love really is. I know she will be the best big sister to her baby sibling who will arrive this winter as her heart is pure gold! Happy birthday Miss Lydia!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I believe that printed photographs are some of the most valuable things we can possess. I believe that photos of ourselves are just as important as the ones of those we love. I am not a photographer who will stick you in a stiff pose just because it will look pretty. I want to capture the true beauty of genuine, silly, fun, amazing couples and families in their element. I capture the small, quiet moments full of the big emotions and always do so in the most pure and natural way possible. These images will be ones you and your family cherish for generations because they will both look and feel like you- and that is the most beautiful thing I could possible hope to create.
As wedding season winds down I am realizing once again just how incredible my job truly is. I spend the day with couples in love surround by their closest friends and family and get to document that love, the start of their lives as one. It's an incredible honor and even in the thick of crazy busy editing and shooting I never want to forget that. So thank you to all of my couples- you guys are the best and I'm thankful to have been a part of each of your special days! Now just wait till you see some more these two from Sunday's wedding 😍
