Kate & Dan's Jackson, NH Private Residence Wedding

They have a love that you can feel as well as see just by being in their presence.  A kind of love that warms the room in which they stand. A kind of love that fits just right and the smiles that tell the world that their love is sweet, simple and above all timeless.

Kate and Dan are just about the coolest people I know.  Not only are they kind, sweet and funny, but they are the kind of people that you just can't help but have fun with!  Their wedding was held at a private home in Jackson, NH where Kate grew up.  Which just so happens to have one of the most amazing views of the White Mountains in the whole valley!  With the leaves just coming into peak color October 5th was the perfect fall wedding day!

Thank you guys so much for allowing me to be a part of your day!  I felt truly honored to document your love and the start of your lives as husband and wife!

Kate & Dan's Jackson, NH Engagement Session

A few days before Kate & Dan tied the knot I met up with them at Kate's parents home up in Jackson, NH.  Kate chose to have both her engagement session and her wedding at her parents home for many reasons, but the #1 reason is THE VIEW!!!  Her parents home has one of the best views in all of Mt. Washington Valley.  With the leaves starting to turn and a gloriously warm sunny day; Dan, Kate and I spent an hour walking around the property and taking some of my favorite engagement photos to date! Kate & Dan, I had the best time with you two and am so glad we squeezed this session in, you guys are naturals in front of the camera!

Sarah's Senior Portrait Session | Fryeburg Academy Class of 2014

It felt like summer last week when Sarah and I walked around the edge of Kezar Lake.  The sun was bright and warm and gave us the most beautiful golden light that you can only get in these late September days.  Sarah is lucky enough to call Kezar Lake home so it was the perfect spot for her senior session.  Sarah's smile is genuine and beautiful, I'm telling you her cheeks must have been sore for days after this session! Thank you Sarah for a wonderful afternoon on the lake!!

April & Dave's Whiteny's Inn Wedding | Jackson, NH

She laughs with her whole being and you can tell just by the way he looks at her that he worships every smile.  They complement each other in an understanding, caring and loving way that can only be a sign of soul mates.  Their day was full of beautiful things; flowers, dresses and desserts but most beautiful of all is their love.

I could start with a story about how this one time April, Beth and I were hanging out at Ben & Jerry's in high school.  I could start with the excitement in April's voice when we talk about her wedding and marring Dave.  I could start with how I could tell I was in the presence of true love when I photographed their engagement session.   I could talk about how much I love these two, and how lucky I am to not only have been able to document their day but to call them friends.  There are a million things I could say but really all that needs to be said is...

April & Dave I am so happy for you and I am in awe of your love.  Congratulations!

Wedding Info Guide

I've been working on and re-vamping my wedding info guide for a few weeks and finally have it up on my website and ready for all of my couples to use!  I created this info guide to be able to provide an easy resource for all my couples to refer to when thinking about their wedding photography.   I included some tips to getting the best wedding photos (inspired by Melissa Jill), some FAQ's, as well as some info about all the goodies that are in my wedding packages.  I have also included a short list of  some of my favorite vendors to work with.  I wanted my potential clients to have access to more info that I can squeeze on my website without being overwhelming.  I wanted it to be easy to read and full of useful information, hopefully I've succeeded!  If you need some hints on getting the best wedding photos, want to see what I do to "give back" or just want to look at a few more pretty photos check out my Wedding Info Guide!! Happy Sunday, GO PATRIOTS!
