It felt like summer last week when Sarah and I walked around the edge of Kezar Lake. The sun was bright and warm and gave us the most beautiful golden light that you can only get in these late September days. Sarah is lucky enough to call Kezar Lake home so it was the perfect spot for her senior session. Sarah's smile is genuine and beautiful, I'm telling you her cheeks must have been sore for days after this session! Thank you Sarah for a wonderful afternoon on the lake!!

She laughs with her whole being and you can tell just by the way he looks at her that he worships every smile. They complement each other in an understanding, caring and loving way that can only be a sign of soul mates. I could start with a story about how this one time April, Beth and I were hanging out at Ben & Jerry's in high school. I could start with the excitement in April's voice when we talk about her wedding and marring Dave. I could start with how I could tell I was in the presence of true love when I photographed their engagement session. I've been working on and re-vamping my wedding info guide for a few weeks and finally have it up on my website and ready for all of my couples to use! I created this info guide to be able to provide an easy resource for all my couples to refer to when thinking about their wedding photography. I included some tips to getting the best wedding photos (inspired by Melissa Jill), some FAQ's, as well as some info about all the goodies that are in my wedding packages. I have also included a short list of some of my favorite vendors to work with. I wanted my potential clients to have access to more info that I can squeeze on my website without being overwhelming. I wanted it to be easy to read and full of useful information, hopefully I've succeeded! This beautiful girl is always on the go! Between school and sports and all the things that senior year brings, we had to plan well ahead to find an evening when her busy schedule would allow us to squeeze in a session. Of course after weeks of warm weather, we ended up with a cool early september evening. The good thing is this girl had outfits galore including a few cozy sweaters and a dress (that I am so jealous of) that she bought in France this summer. Thanks Izzy for making me laugh and remember just how much fun working with seniors is!!!

With their fingers intertwined, arms holding tight, they stood while the sun lit up the sky and enveloped them in it's soft, warm, summer light. Everything else melts away as they stand on the coast of Maine as man and wife. Their love allows them to breath and just be. Happy.

Gitte & Chris are one of those couples that are so awesome that I actually had to pinch myself when they booked me for their wedding to make sure I wasn't dreaming. From the first day we chatted to the hugs good bye on their wedding day they have made me feel truly lucky to be their photographer and friend.
Gitte and Chris had a BEAUTIFUL wedding in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Although threats of thunderstorms moved their ceremony inside we were able to do both their first look and portraits outside to capture the beauty of the Maine coast. Their day was full of family and friends with smiles, laughs and even some napkins swinging over head. Thank you both so much for allowing Melissa and I to document just how awesome you two and your love is.
