On a beautiful, summer, friday evening I met up with The Gilbert's to do some family photos while they were visiting Mt. Washington Valley. This family of four kept me laughing and smiling for an hour straight. These two kids have more energy then I've ever seen two kids have, ever! They were full of funny faces and laughs. This family reminded me once again of how lucky I am to be able to document families the way they are. We got a few photos where everyone is looking and smiling, but the true gems are the funny faces and the real life moments. XOXO Spring

He talked about Pancakes, how she is his syrup. He compared pancakes without syrup to his life without her. He talked about loving everything about her from her genuine laugh to how truly happy stickers with sparkles make her. As he spoke these words, I could tell that my friend had found her soul mate.

I've known Courtney since we were little kids. I'm talking four years old little kids running around with barbie dolls. She is one of the most genuinely happy people I've ever known. He smiles lights up a room, her laugh is heart warming and documenting her wedding was a true and honest privilege. On a Wednesday afternoon she and Jeremy tied the knot at The Snowvillage Inn. There were friends and family with tears in their eyes, beautiful fresh cut wild flowers and a love that will last a life time.
Thank you Courtney and Jeremy for giving the world one more example of true love and allowing me to document it.

Tux & Tails Family Portrait Donation
This past spring I donated a family portrait session to the Conway Area Humane Society event Tux and Tails. The shelter does so many fundraisers and I'm so happy to be able to do my part to help out. The winners of the gift certificate, John & Fran, looked over their schedule and we finally found a day when their kids and grandkids would be in town so we could do a session with the whole family, including Darby their beautiful golden retriever. Last night the whole family was full of smiles! (Just look at that photo with Darby- I'm telling you this dog smiles). Thanks John, Fran, Darby and family for helping me help the local humane society! XOXO Spring
Sara & Patrick's Sherman's Farm Engagement Shoot
She made him laugh. He made her smile. Their arms wrapped around one another, holding close the person in this world they couldn't be themselves without. They snuggled, they drank wine and they danced among flowers as the sun kissing the mountains behind them.

When we originally planned Sara & Patrick's engagement session there was water and scuba gear involved. And as sad as I was that the scuba session didn't pan out I am so glad we had an evening at Sherman's Farm as a back up plan. The light was, in my opinion, the best light all summer. These two had a picnic, cheese and wine and a basket of fresh goodies from the farm stand. Watching them laugh, smile and snuggle for an hour reminded me of just how much I love what I do. Their love was perfect and I just may have taken some of my favorite engagement photos that night.
Thanks Sara & Pat for, well, being so in love. Can't wait for your wedding this fall!

Retirement Party Family Portraits
When you reach a milestone, be it an anniversary, retirement or a birthday, if you are going to have the whole family together why not take advantage of that opportunity and get some fun family photos right? Well thats just what Kristen decided she wanted to do when her family was throwing a retirement party for her dad. She knew getting all her siblings and all of their kids together was a special occasion so we took this opportunity of everyone being in town at the same time and decided to spend an hour one morning taking some fun family photos. We had a lot of kids so it was defiantly a task to get everyone smiling and looking at the camera- I think our best success with all the kids was them with their grandparents and someone behind me was shouting for the kids to look up at the dinosaur in the sky. OK so maybe they are not all looking at me but hey we can see their faces, I consider that a win! I had a blast with this family, they were full of smiles, laughs and man did these kids have never ending energy!
