Bethany & Corey | Jackson, NH {engagements}

Corey is a Mt man.  He just hiked most of the AT before his wedding.  Crazy in my opinion, then again bad knees have made me a less then avid hiker.  Bethany also enjoys the outdoors but was stuck behind planning their September wedding.  These two are getting married at Whitney's Inn in Jackson, NH so we met up in Jackson to do their outdoorsy engagement shoot last week.

We started at the iconic Jackson covered bridge.

Bethany has the sweetest smile.

These guys were troopers and even went wading in the water for a few shots looking up the river.

This might be my favorite just because Corey is pushing Bethany down because she happens to be a tad taller then her groom- I know that feeling ;)

Thanks guys for making the trip up to the mountains. I can't wait to see you guys again in September!!

Julie & Chris | Beverly MA {engagements}

Julie and I have known each other forever.  Ok so maybe only since we were 2-3 years old.  Many of my earliest memories include this girl.  From baths in a claw foot tub in the middle of her field, to summers at camp and high school days this girl and I have been friends through it all. Julie and Chris are getting married at Julie's childhood home next month and I could not be more honored to be her photographer.  With Julie being a fashion/style guru (the beauty and brains behind Orchid Grey)  and all I know every detail is going to be stunning!  A few weeks ago I met up with these two down in Beverly, MA where they currently live and spent the last bits of sunlight shooting these two at The Willows, a fun pier and arcade where they have been coming together for years.

Are they not the most photogenic people on the planet??  Uggh it kills me.  Thank you Julie & Chris for spending the evening with me - I love you both so much and can not wait for next month!!!!

Jenna & Toby | St. Augustine {wedding}

It was 95 degrees and at least 95% humidity.  The sun was shining and the ocean breeze gave us one more thing to be thankful for.  Jenna and Toby tied the knot on the beach in St. Augustine FL earlier this month. Thank you Jenna & Toby for making me feel so much a part of the crew for the weekend.  You guys are awesome!!!

Couture Book {wedding book}

IT HAS ARRIVED!!!! My new sample Wedding Book arrived on my front porch this week and I can not stop looking at it.  Just looking at the box makes me gitty.

This book is one of Couture Book's new French Line books.  This sample is a collection of some of my favorite wedding images from the past few years.  The sample book is 10x13  with a printed organic cotton cover and 100% recycled paper pages.  The colors are stunning and the pages feel rich and substantial.  I am so excited to show this book off and have my brides fall in love with it too.  It is 200 pages of pure happiness.

These are books you really need to hold to truly appreciate but I've done my best to give you a little taste of their awesomeness!

Meet Mr. Bruin {puppy photography}

So it seems to be a theme recently- all my friends are getting dogs.  A few weeks ago my best friend got a dog and two weeks ago one of my other very good friends got a puppy.  Bruin is a Schnoodle. (schnauzer poodle mix) and he is the sweetest thing on the planet.  Shannon lives in the building behind my new office so its easy for me to come steel him for a few hours to keep me company and give him a chance to get out and run around a bit. This little guy has melted my heart.  Meet Mr. Bruin.

I love having this little guy around, he is super sweet and cute to boot.  Come stop by my studio and there is a chance he might be hanging around.
