As I get ready to board my plane back to New England I thought I'd share a little taste of the perfect beach wedding that Jenna & Toby had yesterday in sunny St. Augustine, FL.

Ally and Adam are what I like to call my ideal clients. These two are the sweetest people on the planet. When we first met and sat down for eggs and pancakes at a local breakfast place I immediately knew we would hit it off. They were full of smiles and stories of their time together. By the end of breakfast they even said "if you were not shooting our wedding we'd want to invite you" Talk about the perfect client! These two are tying the knot in Jackson at Whitney's Inn this summer. They love the outdoors so we braved the bugs and dodged the afternoon raindrops and managed to squeeze in an engagement session with beautiful light one afternoon earlier in June.

What you can't see in this next photo are the 4000 plus bugs swarming around them- trust me i photoshopped out a lot of little white dots on this one.

Ally you are such a natural- she just knew how to strike an interesting pose that isn't really a pose. Loved it.

These last two are my favorites of the day. With rain drops falling these two were laughing and smiling. Can't wait to see you guys again in August!!!!

I'm loving these simple little tins I found for my DVD's. They are clean and basic but with a sweet little vintage ribbon and personalize name tag they feel so much less sterile and way more soft and classy. I think everything is better with a personalized touch and come on- who doesn't love some pale blue, vintage ribbon?

Andrew & Suzie your dvd was a great model and is now in mail!!! XOXO Spring
My summers were always about summer camp. I spent 11 years of my youth under the pine trees and in Crystal Lake in Eaton NH at Waukeela Camp for girls. Those days were filled with swimming, white water canoeing, horse back riding along with tons of other fun outdoor activities. We also spend a vast majority of days singing. During meals, during hikes and often while just walking from one activity to another. Many of those songs were typical camp songs but a few were a tad more main stream. The Indigo Girls were a huge part of my life growing up. So many of their songs are associated with specific memories and times in my life. Tonight I am the luckiest girl to spend an evening listening to them preform live at Stone Mt. Art's Center in my home town. I am beside myself with excitement thinking about it and will be listening to Indigo Girls all day in prep for tonight.
Happy first day of Summer everyone!! Find a way to enjoy this day and make it a memory that will last- I know mine will :)

As some of you may remember a few months ago, back when everything was white and frozen I ran a facebook portrait contest. After a few weeks of trying to nail down a date with the winners we decided to push it back until it was nice and warm out. Here we are in June and we finally found some time to get some images of one year old Carter. Last week I met up with Ashley and her family at the train station in North Conway. Her son is the cutest thing!!!!! He was full of smiles and giggles for the camera. A true Ham I tell you :)

Carter likes to pay drums on daddy's head.

I told you he was a Ham! His smiles get me every time. Thank you Ashley for allowing me to document your beautiful family!!!
