DVD packaging

I'm loving these simple little tins I found for my DVD's.  They are clean and basic but with a sweet little vintage ribbon and personalize name tag they feel so much less sterile and way more soft and classy.  I think everything is better with a personalized touch and come on- who doesn't love some pale blue, vintage ribbon? undefinedundefined

Andrew & Suzie your dvd was a great model and is now in mail!!! XOXO Spring

The First Day of Summer & The Indigo Girls

My summers were always about summer camp.  I spent 11 years of my youth under the pine trees and in Crystal Lake in Eaton NH at Waukeela Camp for girls.  Those days were filled with swimming, white water canoeing, horse back riding along with tons of other fun outdoor activities.  We also spend a vast majority of days singing.  During meals, during hikes and often while just walking from one activity to another.  Many of those songs were typical camp songs but a few were a tad more main stream. The Indigo Girls were a huge part of my life growing up.  So many of their songs are associated with specific memories and times in my life.  Tonight I am the luckiest girl to spend an evening listening to them preform live at Stone Mt. Art's Center in my home town.  I am beside myself with excitement thinking about it and will be listening to Indigo Girls all day in prep for tonight.

Happy first day of Summer everyone!!  Find a way to enjoy this day and make it a memory that will last- I know mine will :)

Facebook Contest Winner | Family Photos

As some of you may remember a few months ago, back when everything was white and frozen I ran a facebook portrait contest.  After a few weeks of trying to nail down a date with the winners we decided to push it back until it was nice and warm out.  Here we are in June and we finally found some time to get some images of one year old Carter. Last week I met up with Ashley and her family at the train station in North Conway.  Her son is the cutest thing!!!!!  He was full of smiles and giggles for the camera.  A true Ham I tell you :)

Carter likes to pay drums on daddy's head.

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined I told you he was a Ham!  His smiles get me every time.  Thank you Ashley for allowing me to document your beautiful family!!!

Meredith & Patrick | Jackson, NH Photogrpaher

Meredith & Patrick are outdoor enthusiasts.  They love to spend time outside be it ski season or golf season.  They often spend weekends in Mt. Washington Valley enjoying all the different seasons outdoor activities.  Last weekend they made the trip up to the mountains from their Maine coast home for their engagement session.  We dodged the raindrops and had a great time at Jackson Falls.  Even their little Pug-Beagle cross joined us for a few shots. undefinedundefined

These two have the best laughs ever!!! So contagious.

undefinedundefined

Something about these tall pines makes me very happy.

undefinedundefinedundefined

This last shot might be one of my all time favorite engagement photos.  Hmmmm new canvas for my wall?

undefined Thanks guys for making the trip and for taking some time to feed our local bug population.  Can't wait for September!!

Suzie & Andrew's Wedding

One of Suzie's maids of honor is an old summer camp friend of mine.  Kristen told Suzie she had a friend who was a wedding photographer and lucky for me Suzie liked my worked and was excited to have me as her photographer.  Suzie and Andrew were married on Sunday May 29th on a perfect, warm, blue sky day. My second shooter for the day was the super fabulous Nicole Chan- she started the day with the boys. Who started their day watching tv and drinking a beer- typical boys :)

undefinedundefined I started the day with the ladies over at The Red Lion Inn.

If you couldn't tell I really loved her dress.
