I'm not a morning person but for an awesome family like this- I think I can do mornings!

More to come soon!
I remember being young and my mom talking to the lady in the checkout line at the grocery store about my name. The lady would lean down and ask me if spring was my favorite season. I'd always scowl and say "No- I like the fall". I used to hate my name but now over the years I've grown to appreciate its uniqueness. With 5 katie's 3 Lindsey's and 4 heathers in my classes I grew to like that I was the only Spring. I also have never loved spring- or mud season as I like to call it. With its glorious colors, cool crisp air, apple cider, pumpkins, sweaters and jeans fall has always been my favorite time of year. As much as a mourn the passing of summer, I can't help but look forward to fall. Fall is also my favorite time to shop. Not that I ever have a least favorite time to shop.
As I walked around Banana Republic with my friend Shannon the other day carring 30 things to try on I realized just how much I love fall clothes. Sweaters, light weight jackets, scarves- I just get so excited to be able to layer things!
Speaking of which here are a few of the newest arrivals on my fall wardrobe wish list:

1. Striped cowlneck T from Gap. 2. Women's Fleece Moto Jacket from Old Navy 3. Shirred V-Neck Cardigan from Ann Taylor Loft 4. Snapshot Wrap from Banana Republic 5. There's a Time for Everything Watch Necklace from Ruche 6. Green Tea Leaf Top from Ruche
What do you love about fall?
Can you tell these two love birds are die hard New England sports fans?

I had been looking forward to Vanessa & Marty's wedding for over a year!!! I was counting right along with Vanessa on her online countdown. These two have become such good friends! They are cute, sweet and goofy all at the same time, which you know makes for a fun wedding.
These two love birds tied the knot on Aug 28, 2010 in South Portland, ME. We started the day at The Eastland Park Hotel. I think Marty was excited.

Vanessa wore a Maggie Settero gown that looked absolutely stunning on her.

My friend Debbie was my second shooter for the day and is the creator of these next three awesome images.

Look at that bouquet! Anna from Flowers by Leslie totally outdid herself with Vanessa's modern bouquet.

Vanessa was just a tad excited to be married... can you tell?

After the ceremony we headed north to The Woodland's Country Club in Falmouth, Maine for the reception. Just before the bridal party was announced we grabbed some fun photos.

The light was beautiful, and we had tons of time with Marty and Vanessa to capture just the two of them. Can you say perfection?

I'm thinking Vanessa should be on the cover of Modern Bride...

These two know how to work the camera.

Vanessa's cake from European Bakery matched her bouquet perfectly.

Right after introductions Marty and Vanessa graced the dance floor for the first time as husband and wife.

Marty and Vanessa danced the night away with all their friends and family.

Thank you guys so much for including us in your day. I have had so much fun with you guys over the past year!!!! Love ya!
Before I head north on this beautiful September day, I wanted to give you a little taste of Lytta and Michael's wedding yesterday. -Enjoy :)
