Colleen & Mike | North Conway, NH | Engaged

Mike and Colleen made the trip up to North Conway in November to spend a rather chilly afternoon walking around North Conway village with their puppy and myself.  They are getting married next spring at the beautiful Harrington Farm in Princeton MA.  When they made the trip up here this past summer to have a consultation we totally hit it off and I have been looking forward to their engagement session ever since!!!  While they were up here they fell in love with The White Mt. Cupcakery's delicious cupcakes and are evening having me bring some down for the wedding so that they have their favorites on their big day! The best part of the day was that their super sweet puppy was just as cute and photogenic as Mike and Colleen are!!!!  Just look at the way these too laugh and smile, it's true love I tell ya.

If you couldn't fail.

While doing a little online Cyber Monday Christmas shopping I stumbled across this little gem:

Such a loaded question!  I think about goals, dreams and ideas for the future all the time.  Seriously I prob spend at least thirty minutes every day thinking about what comes next.  The future of my personal life as well as my business.  I try to set goals and often have them scratched on post it notes all over my house and office.  I figure if they are around and I see them often enough they will be that reminder to push harder and go further and not give up. There are days when I think about the things I want out of life my BHAG's as Mary Marantz would call them.  Sometimes it's scary to think about them, and even scarier to say them out loud.

So as 2011 comes to an end I ask you.... what would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?  Post your answer in the comment section below andone lucky commenter is going to win a little somethin' somethin'

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

I can't believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving!!!  I've spent this whole month playing catch up and fighting off a cold that just doesn't want to go away.  The farmer's almanac said there would be snow on the ground by Thanksgiving- and this is my view out my front door this morning.  10 plus inches of snow in my front yard and it's still coming down.

This afternoon Silas, my parents and I are all headed south to spend Thanksgiving with my family in VA.  I can't wait to see my grandfather and spend some quality time sitting around chatting with my family with no emails to return and no phone calls to make.  Believe it or not I may even miss my brother not being with us (he lives in Australia).  I hope everyone can spend some quality time with their families this weekend and be reminded of the joy and love that surrounds us all.

Have a wonderful holiday everyone, and anyone who is crazy enough to take on those Black Friday sales- Godspeed.
