Haddie

Haddie has the most stunning blue eyes I've ever seen.  Trust me that is a statement coming from me because not only does Silas have blue eyes so does my best friend and my father and I'm sorry to say guys you just don't hold a candle to this little girl.

That face- uggh she is so stinkin' cute.

This next one might be my favorite from the day.

We tried to get Haddie to play with some of her toys but she was much more interested in her book!

Another favorite of the day.  A little daddy love.

After playing inside for a while we decided to take Haddie outside for what they call a "Re-boot"  As soon as the cool air hit her face she was all smiles- I think we may have a snow bunny on our hands.

The whole family.

This girl is such a ham and a total delight to shoot.  I had a great afternoon with Haddie and her parents and can't wait to see her smile again soon.

XOXOXO Spring

Thanks everyone who entered- I now have a nice long list of new breakfast food ideas :) xoxo S

Birthday Waffles & A Tasty Little Contest

I love waffles.  I love breakfast food in general but waffles and pancakes are defiantly right up there, especially when smothered in real maple syrup!  This is why I was so excited with Silas and I got a stonewall kitchen waffle iron for a housewarming gift a few weeks ago. Yesterday was my 27th birthday (whooo hooo!!!) and for part of my birthday gift Silas bought me some stonewall kitchen farmhouse waffle mix and some chocolate chip waffle mix.  Can you say YUMMMY!? So first thing this morning I jumped out of bed and couldn't wait for that waffle iron to warm up.

Now for the contest part....  Leave a comment below and tell me what your favorite breakfast food is and you'll be entered to win a tasty little treat from Stonewall Kitchen.  Hurry- the contest ends Wednesday at midnight!

Christmas Songs.

Last night Silas and I got our very first Christmas Tree for our house.  We picked out a beautiful eight foot fraser fir- you know the ones that hold their needles longer then most.  We had to do a little trimming to make it fit in our just less then eight foot ceilings but once it was in place I got totally overwhelmed with that happy, gitty, super excited Christmas spirit.

Picking out a Christmas tree was always one of my favorite parts of the holidays- along with shopping, wrapping and listening to Christmas music.  I love Silver Bells, White Christmas and Silent Night as much as the next person but honestly this is much more my kind of Christmas music:

So now that you know my favorite Christmas Song... whats yours?

Emily & Donny | Married | Part Two

A few days later- we pick up right where we left off.  As you can tell Donny was pretty excited to be married!

'Grizzy', Emily's fur coat kept the girls warm.

After a few photos at the church we headed back to the hotel and continued photos with the stunning Mt. Washington lit up behind us.  All the boys had these custom socks saying "father of the groom", "groom" and "groomsman"

This next one is one of my favorites of the day.

Love the image on the right that Debbie got with the moon.

The Mt Washington Hotel is beautiful inside and out. This next set is my favorite pair from the day.

Yummmmmmy.

There was a little joke Emily's dad had planned and told me about months ago.  Emily is a fan of buffalo chicken fingers, ok fan might be an understatement.  So as a joke when the waiter brought Donny & Emily's dinner she was brought buffalo chicken fingers rather then her real dinner.

After dinner the party began.

I had a great time with Emily & Donny- Thank you guys so much for allowing me to be a part of your day!!!
