October 2, 2010 was a beautiful fall day. The kind of day that brides dream about. Well, Julia & Tracy were two brides lucky enough to have this kind of day for their wedding.
Both girls were walked down the isle by their fathers.

Ben and I went to high school together. He has always been talented but when I sat down to listen to some of his new music I was speechless. This boy has talent! Which is why I was so honored when he asked me to shoot some photos for his new live album. I haven't done much for music photography so after spending a few days trooling the web looking for inspiration Ben and I met up in Hiram, ME to shoot. We started shooting in the woods by this rusted out car frame. The light was beautiful and I love the rustic feel.
Ben also wanted to shoot down by Hiram Falls.
These next two might be my favorites of the day- They feel so peaceful.
I didn't want to give away too many of the best ones because who knows which ones might make it into the album design. Check out Ben's music and keep an eye out- he plays locally here in Mt. Washington Valley from time to time.

Could you ask for a more photogenic family? I met up with Courtney, her husband and their two beautiful girls a while back to take some family photos. This first one might be my favorite of the day- just look at those smiles!!!!
This right here is exactly why I love taking family photos. 
Dogs can often be a challenge in family photos but I know that Coby is a member of my family and no family photos are complete without the family pet.
Even though the girls were soaking wet from the grass there were still tons of smiles.
I love this last photo because mom and dad are the heart of the family and seeing them smile and laugh together makes my heart happy. Thanks guys for allowing me to document your beautiful family. I had so much fun and hope to do more family photos with you as the years go by.

Emily and Donny are getting married in November at the Mt. Washington Hotel!!!!!!! Can you tell how excited I am for their wedding?! I met Emily back in college when she was on the swim team with my roommate and last year I ran into her and her parents in North Conway while they were visiting the area to find a location for Emily and Donny's wedding. I was so excited when Emily told me she wanted to book me for her wedding!!! Emily and Donny spend a lot of weekends, getting away from city life in Boston, visiting Mt Washington Valley. We met up earlier this month to do their engagement shoot in North Conway Village. I've wanted to shoot an engagement session in the village for a while and we lucked out and had the perfect September day.
I love these next two- Emily has such a great natural smile.
