It has been a busy, busy week!! I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off for a few days now and hopefully tomorrow will give me a breather and a few minutes to get Emily & Anthony's wedding posted. In the mean time, here is just a taste from a recent engagement shoot in Newport RI.

I just got home from Emily & Anthony's (pardon my french) KICK A** wedding!!!! Here is just a taste of what's to come...

Stephanie & Tom| Wedding | Church Landing Meredith, NH
Stephanie and Tom were married lakeside at Church Landing in Meredith, NH last friday afternoon. These two are one of the cutest couples ever. Her classic look and his adoring smile made for a fantastic day of photography. Lindsey and I started our day with the ladies getting ready. Stephanie had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the lake.

Stephanie and Tom decided to do a first look and see each other before the wedding. She picked a spot just below her room's balcony where there was a small garden and some stone steps leading to the lake. What she didn't know at the time was that Debbie (her sister-in-law and one of her bridesmaids and also a wedding photographer) was perched in the balcony watching and shooting from above.
Even without blue skies it was a perfect day- the light was gorgeous and we took advantage of this amazing setting.
I told you she was classic didn't I?
They were both so easy going and relaxed and that made getting natural smiles and capturing their love easy.

After getting a majority of their family photos done before hand we headed back to the room to hide Stephanie away while guests arrived. During this down time one of the bridesmaids pulled out a needle and thread. Apparently if you rub the needle against the side of your forearm and then hold it up above your arm it will tell you if you'll have a baby boy or baby girl depending on if the needle goes side to side or in a circle. As you can see this provided endless entertainment!
The wedding was held under a large tent right on the banks of the lake. Stephanie's dad walked her down the isle to meet Tom.

The reception was held inside the ballroom at Chruch Landing. The beautiful tables, the fireplace and the stunning chandeliers created a beautiful atmosphere.

Tom's Best Man made a great toast that had everyone laughing.
The delicious cupcakes - yes I did happen to taste one- how could I not... look at them. Boston Cream Pie cupcakes!!!
After dinner the music picked up and there was a lot of singing and some serious dance moves on that floor.
Just before sunset I grabbed Stephanie and Tom and we walked out to the gazebo on the water. What a location!!! The light was fading fast but we managed to get in a few more portraits.
Congratulations Stephanie and Tom! I wish you a life full of love & laughter :)
My new spokesmodel.
I just couldn't help myself. While editing images from Stephanie & Tom's wedding I came accross this gem that Lindsey shot. This little kid is my new spokes model, not only is he the cuttest kid alive he is holding one of my business cards! LOVE IT.
