Newborn & Maternity Photographer | Boston MA

Caroline & Kevin are special.  These two are the perfect example of why I do what I do.  As well as why I'm the luckiest photographer ever.   I've had the honor of photographing these guys four different times now and it all started with their engagement shoot bace in the fall of 2011- wow I can't even believe that as 5 years ago!  Since then I've photographed their wedding, maternity and now newborn photos.  These guys are sweetest, kindest and most amazing people who love with their whole hearts.

We spent a relaxed, slow paced morning in their home and documented some of my favorite parenthood images to date.  The intimacy and true beauty of an in home newborn session makes my heart so happy.

Enjoy a few of my favorites :)

We couldn't leave out their two adorable kitties... so they had portraits taken too :)

Camden Maine Wedding of Caitlin & Scott

When you get to spend a beautiful Saturday in August in mid-coast Maine, on a sailboat surround by your best friends family you know it's going to be a good day.  I've known Caitlin and Scott for more then 6 years now and they are two are the most fun, outgoing and kind people with just the right amount of crazy mixed in.  Caitlin is my best friends half sister and having the honor of documenting their wedding was an absolute dream!

This wedding had it all- a stunning coastal Maine house where the girls got ready, a heartfelt ceremony with personal touches, a crew of Vikings who 'kidnapped' us and rowed us to the reception- and the reception took place on a beautiful sailboat.  I'm so lucky to do what I love for a living and even luckier when I am able to to have clients like these guys!!!

Whitney & Devin's Pine Point Engagement Shoot

When I found out that Whitney was engaged I was so excited for her!  I had photographed her senior portraits and her cousins wedding years ago.  When she told me they were planning to get married in Hawaii I was secretly hoping she would take me with her.  While the Hawaii plans have changed and although its a bummer not be headed somewhere tropical with them I'm pretty excited to document their big day next summer right here on the coast of Maine!

Whitney had Pine Point in mind for their engagement shoot and after battling the weather for a day that wouldn't thunderstorm on us we finally hit it just right and had a beautiful warm evening with soft pastel skies!  The beach was still a little busy by sunset but it didn't seam to bother these two one bit.  They were laughing and smiling the whole time, making my job easier and an absolute blast!  Here are a few of my favorites :)

Caroline & Kevin's Maine Lakeside Maternity Portraits

Caroline and Kevin are my dream clients. Those ones that you pinch yourself when you get to work with them.  They are clients that over the years have become friends and I feel so lucky to continue to have both a friendship and client relationship with them all these years later.

I shot Caroline and Kevin's engagement photos, wedding photos and now their maternity photos!  Next up is newborn photos which is coming up in less than two weeks now that their beautiful little man has entered this world!!!

I spent a beautiful Maine summer evening with them at Caroline's families lake house and we had an evening of fun, laughs and some of my all time favorite maternity photos!!!  Here are a few of my favorites for you to enjoy and stay tuned for their newborn session coming in the next few weeks!

Maternity Session with Isa & John

isablog0001I've known Isa since the 4th grade.  She was one of my best friends through elementary, middle and high school.  Although with the years since we graduated our paths have rarely crossed it took only moments for us to be right back where we were all those years ago- laughing, smiling and just having a blast together!  We spent the evening catching up, visiting and of course taking some photos. Isa and John are expecting their first baby this summer and I couldn't be more exited for them.  They are going to be the best parents and you can already see the overwhelming love they have for this little one. I love being able to capture the excitement as well as the deep and emotional clam that expecting moms have in these last weeks of pregnancy.  I think mom's have that 6th sense and know just how crazy life is going to be soon and so there is this serenity when its just her holding her belly- enjoying something so amazing and so life changing in the last few quiet moments.  Capturing those magic moments is what makes my heart so full and so happy.

Isa & John thanks for making the trip back "home" and for spending the evening with Silas and I for photos and a great dinner.  I can't wait to meet your little one next time your home.  So much love!!
